To solve this issue Avon has created the Lots of Kisses Hat Box filled to the brim with 60 mini lipsticks for $50.00. Now you can unleash your creativity and test the brand’s most popular shades!

These cuties can be used several times and they are tiny enough to fit in any purse. The colors are rich, vibrant, hydrating and smooth with finishes that range from satin, shiny, cream and matte.

Most of the lipsticks are highly pigmented with buildable coverage and there is something for everyone whether you prefer everyday neutrals, bright summery hues or something sultry for date night.

Among the 60 shades there are 30 different colors (some pigments are duplicates with different finishes). The formulas are all very comfortable and moisturizing to prevent chapping and the square edge helps outline the lip contour but don't press too hard.

Some of the minis may look a bit misshapen in the photos because they softened under the hot lights in my studio. Its humid this season so if this happens, pop them in the fridge until they solidify. The lipsticks don’t twist down so be very careful when capping and uncapping, one wrong move could smoosh the entire thing.

My favorites are the berry tones, reds, purples and soft pinks but I also mix and match to create custom shades and ombré effects.

These little lippies are easy to misplace but the set is perfect for gifting!

Avon True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstick Review & Swatches

There is something glamorous about swiping on a bold, sultry lipstick that effortlessly ties a makeup look together and accentuates your pout with an alluring pop of color. Matte lipsticks sometimes get a bad rap for being uncomfortable, drying and difficult to reapply but the rich finish enhances lips so beautifully they are totally irresistible!

Avon’s Perfectly Matte Lipsticks have become a new obsession of mine and their motto is “never cakes, cracks or compromises” for a 100% true matte look! These babies are simply stunning and the color selection is very trendy! I don’t care much for flesh tones so I chose a variety of bright shades that are perfect for every season and flattering on most complexions including: deep burgundy, red, bright pink, coral and plum.

Unlike some matte lipsticks that look a tad shiny in the tubes and still produce a hint of luminosity these do not! They look completely matte and gloss-free when uncapped yet the formula is one of my favorites. The creamy texture that glides on effortlessly and bathes lips in vivid pigment for hours of wear.  

If you tend to shy away from drying lip products (and I don’t blame you during the winter) you don’t have to fear these bodacious hues. The finish may be perfectly matte but the formula feels ultra lightweight, supple and quite hydrating without any slickness. I love that the texture doesn’t suck the moisture out of my lips and make them look parched and cracked; in fact they feel fabulous with no flaking or uncomfortable tightness.

Avon definitely hit it out of the park with these buttery pigments and as they begin to wear away the color fades nicely for a soft, flushed effect, similar to that blurred Korean beauty trend that was so hip last summer. The pinks and deep reds are perfect for Valentine's Day next month and Hot Plum is totally swoon worthy!

The packaging is classic Avon, very sleek and simple. The black tubes are adorned with silver trim and have clear tops so you can see the shades without opening them. These do have a light fruity scent but they smell delicious!

For best results I use liner and primer first to intensify and prolong wear but they look gorgeous simply applied right out of the tubes and the pigmentation is wonderful! Avon did not skimp on color when they formulated these. What you see is what you get and the lush, luxurious color distributes well for amazing full coverage.

New from Avon: Outspoken Party by Fergie, Beyond Color Lipstick & Press-On Nails!

When I receive a new fragrance from Avon I just know it’s going to be good because they’ve been teaming up with fabulous celebs like Fergie and releasing trendy scents one after the other! I previously reviewed the first perfume in the collection called Outspoken and Avon has once again collaborated with the Black Eyes Peas bombshell to release Outspoken Party! This Fergalicious scent combines delicious notes of crème brûlée, fiery peony and luscious raspberry for a blend of delectable pink florals, juicy nectars and creamy gourmands. The purple liquid resembles a stylish elixir and the packaging is flirty and fun!

This scent is sweet as candy with a hint of seductive sandalwood for youthful edginess. It is a great fragrance for a fun night out when you crave something light, playful and a little delicious! You can also enhance the party girl vibe by using the body cream and for every perfume sold Avon will donate $5.00 to their foundation for breast cancer. The 50 ml bottle retails for $35.00 and the body cream is $15.00.

By now you know that I have a little... (okay maybe a HUGE) lip product obsession and the Beyond Color Lipstick collection has gained 10 vivacious new hues that will keep you stylish this fall. Whether you like subtle color or vivid, show-stopping pigments there is something for everyone and the formula is infused with jojoba and pomegranate extract to nourish, hydrate and protect.

(From left to right)- Bitten is my favorite color in the bunch, it is a bright pink with a gorgeous purple undertone that is perfect for autumn! In the Buff is a flesh tone nude which is idea for the days you decide to tone it down and Heat Wave is a bright seasonal shade because who doesn’t love orange for fall!?

These lightweight, rich lipsticks have a nice velvety texture, SPF 15 protection and caffeine to plump and voulmize your pout. The smooth, creamy texture glides on effortlessly with no drag and delivers a bold punch of pigment for full, beautiful coverage! I love that the satin finish has a touch of brilliant shine without being too glossy and the scent is very subtle and pleasant. The lipsticks retails for $12.00 each.

Press on nails were very popular this summer as beauty junkies decided to spend more time soaking up the sun and less time waiting for their polish to dry. Avon has jumped on the trend bandwagon and released a stunning range of artificial nails for quick, mess-free adhesion. Since these nails can be removed with just soap and water I’m assuming that they don’t last more than a few days especially with frequent hand washing but they can be filed to your desired shape and length.

I love the cute, stylish patterns! The black and white nails with the stripes and polka dots are my fave and if you want to get really creative you can mix and match designs for a more eclectic effect. I really wish these nails could fit me but they are too short and wide for my long, narrow nail beds. If they did work for me I would definitely rock them and they retail for just $12.00 per box.
