Urban Decay’s hottest new makeup launch is driving beauty
junkies into a frenzy as images of the Naked Heat Palette takes over
social media! These beautiful, amber shades add a fiery twist to the Naked Collection we've come to know and love with pigments that compliment all skin tones! The new range also
includes eye pencils and 3 limited edition Vice Lipsticks.
The simmering packaging captures the heat rising off the seductive
shadows and the vertical blind design is like gazing through a window at a steamy
sunset. The palette also comes with a dual-ended brush for patting on color and
blending.
The warm, sultry color spectrum is irresistible and the sweltering hues range from deep red-brown, glimmering copper, burnt orange,
matte red, sienna, chocolate brown and butterscotch. The variety of of metallic, micro-shimmer and matte finishes are stunning and they create eye-catching
contrast for daytime looks and sultry smokey effects. I already own a few of the Naked
Palettes but these color combinations are my favorite!
Each shadow is infused with UD’s proprietary blend for a smooth velvety texture, impressive staying power and luxurious
blendability. The pigments are incredibly rich and slightly creamy for intense
color payoff with no creasing or fading (especially when used with UD's Primer Potion). I love how the vibrant metallics play-up the brunt red, orange and brown and no matter how you match them, the
results are gorgeous!
The first few shades are great for blending, highlighting and
transition hues in the crease. They are basic yet integral for creating a
well balanced look.
The middle hues are shimmery and bold - great for
accentuating the lids. He Devil is my favorite crease shade for sculpting.
The last few shades are ideal for pretty much anything, and
the marvelous metallic bronze at the end (Ember) is out of this world!
The quality of this palette is top-notch and the effects you
can create are jaw-dropping so I highly recommend getting yours before they all
fly off the shelves. Naked Heat retails for $66.00.
Swatches left to right: Ember, Ounce, Chaser, Sauced, Low Blow, Lumbre, He Devil, Dirty Talk, Scorched, Cayenne, En Fuego and Ashes
The new shades of Vice Lipsticks include: Heat (metallic
burnt red-gold with glitter), Scorched (metallic copper) and Fuel (creamy
peachy-nude) - all designed to compliment the Naked Heat shadows.
The lipsticks have different finishes but they glide on
smooth, creamy and vivid thanks to the nourishing formula enriched with vitamins, antioxidants, aloe,
avocado, jojoba and babassu oils that soften and moisturize. The glittery red reminds
me of Dorothy’s ruby slipper from the Wizard of Oz and the glamorous gold is
radiant! The lipsticks retail for $21.00 each and come in trendy copper dipped tubes.
Swatches: Vice Lipsticks - Fuel, Heat and Scorched. Eyeliners - Torch and Alkaline
I don’t think I’ve ever worn butterscotch or burgundy
eyeliner but I’m excited to experiment! The pencils glide on soft and creamy
for one-swipe coverage and 24 hours of waterproof hold with no bleeding. They retail for $25.00 each.
