Shiseido Rouge Rouge Lipstick Review – New Shades

Nothing boosts confidence like a sexy red lipstick and if you want to find a beautiful shade that compliments your skin tone, Shiseido’s Rouge Rouge Collection has you covered. Recently the brand launched 8 fresh new colors that add variety to the spectrum and look ravishing for fall. Radiant pinks, bright orange and neutral brown are among my favorite seasonal hues.

If you appreciate smooth, luscious pigment that glides on creamy, saturated and vibrant then you’ll love these. The fragrance-free, buttery formula coats lips in beautiful matte color that feels lightweight and supple for conditioning comfort. In the drying fall/winter winds, the moisturizing texture prevents chapped skin, protects against environmental aggressors and keeps your pout soft and beautifully defined.

Pink is popular because it looks good on everyone and never goes out of style. It transitions from summer to autumn effortlessly and instantly perks-up a dull complexion. The shades below are: Primrose Sun (flatting fuchsia) and Peruvian Pink - a bright, bubble gum hue that reminds me of MAC’s famous Candy Yum Yum.

I love how solid the color appears – pure and vivid for excellent color payoff and longevity. The shape of the application surface makes it easy to re-apply on-the-go with no feathering or stains. These chic shades are simplicity at its finest – sophisticated, feminine and trendy with a classic formula that just works.

This time of year pumpkin spice is very popular and orange is another year-round shade that evokes the beauty of changing fall leaves. Fire Topaz is the lipstick to wear if you want a pop of rich color on a dreary winter day. It instantly brightens your entire look and I like to smudge some onto my cheeks to create a stunning blush.

If nudes are more your speed, Amber Afternoon is a pretty golden brown that looks great on many skin tones without washing you out. Brown is another popular shade for autumn and this hue helps tone down and balance bold shadows for a softer look.

The lipsticks retail for $35.00 each and Shiseido is available at Hudson’s Bay, Rexall, Sears, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sephora and online at shiseido.ca.
