Arbonne Botaniques Skincare Review

These day I’m balancing work, media events, travel, social commitments and home renovations while trying to stay active on social media and making time to work out. When life gets busy I like to stop, regroup, prioritize and do something calming to relax my mind and body.

Enjoying a pampering spa day at home is one of my favorite ways to de-stress. Taking time to treat myself is like recharging my battery. I feel better, look better and sleep better.

Recently I’ve been using Arbonne’s new botanical based skincare collection infused with uplifting extracts, superfood cocktails and refreshing tropical fruit that smell amazing! Like all of Arbonne’s products, this range is vegan, cruelty-free and formulated to enhance your personal care routine.

When your pout is kissably smooth, use the Lip Salve to nourish, plump and moisturize. I keep this duo on my bedside table and use it every night. My lipstick always applies flawlessly the next day.

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Prepwork Skincare Review

In a few days I will be heading to a sunny destination which means UV exposure, junk food, chlorine, salt water, late nights and maybe a little jet lag. To prepare my skin for the journey, I’ve started a new skincare routine with Arbonne’s RE9 Advanced Prepwork Collection. The products are formulated with a nutritious blend of extracts, botanicals and oils that deep cleanse, protect, hydrate, correct and revitalize to promote a healthy complexion.

The Arbonne RE9 Advanced Prepwork Cleansing Polish ($32.00) is a refreshing superfood cocktail infused with:

I was told by a Dermatologist that tinted sunscreens are most effective because they shield against all types of light and the flesh tone shades don’t leave behind a white film. This formula is particularly good because it feels comfortable, mattifies to prevent greasiness, compliments a wide variety of skin tones and works well under makeup.

We’ve all had sleepless nights and stressful days which is why you should always have a good eye mask among your arsenal of beauty tools. In my experience, eye masks actually brighten and rejuvenate the skin faster than daily creams for a quick pick-me-up when I need it most.

The Arbonne RE9 Advanced Prepwork Gel Masks ($50.00) are awesome because there are 60 in each jar! I keep them in the fridge for an extra blast of coolness and the soft gels are thoroughly soaked in a solution of Vitamin C, strawberry, blackberry, acai, cranberry, blueberry, caffeine and Vitamin B3. The ultra-nourishing serum helps reduce the look of fatigue, lines, dark circles and puffiness so you appear well rested and alert (even when you aren’t). I pop these on right before a big event and they work wonders after a long flight or busy day.

Arbonne Intelligence Genius Ultra & New RE9 Advanced Skincare

The Genius is very easy to use - After cleansing, simply apply your skincare, turn on the device, adjust the intensity (there are 3 settings) and move it around your face and neck in circular, massaging motions. You will feel very soft vibrations and soothing warmth as the application plate warms up to make skin more receptive to absorption. I love how the heat opens the pores while melting creams and oils so they sink in deeper and because the plate does not absorb any product, you can use less without waste. 

Although the sensation is quite mild, it feels very relaxing and the tapered shape fits into the areas around the nose. The smooth plate makes it easy to evenly distribute creams and serums but slippery textures tend to create more glide so I like to add a few drops of natural oil. I did expect a bit more heat and stronger vibrations but using the Genius definitely encourages me to apply my products properly and before bed it enhances my skin’s regeneration process. Arbonne Clear Future Acne Treatment Review

Nothing puts a damper on date night or Valentine’s Day like a huge, painful zit! I don’t suffer from ongoing acne or bad breakouts but every now and then a pesky pimple or two pops up to blemish my complexion. They always seem to appear when I want my makeup to look flawless for an event, party or social gathering. This Valentine's Day don’t let an ugly zit be your dates focal point, fight back with Arbonne’s blemish clearing acne collection which combines potent active ingredients with natural botanical extracts.

The Soothing Overnight Mask is a fabulous idea! I have no idea why I didn’t have this in my collection sooner because as you sleep your skin begins its natural healing process which is also the best time to treat any flare-ups. You simply apply the refreshing gel to clean, dry skin and get your beauty rest. The fast absorbing matte formula is very lightweight, non-greasy and seems to be scent-free. It doesn’t provide much hydration so you can layer it under moisturizer if you have dry skin.

The mask's formula is enriched with witch hazel, willow bark, olive oil, sage + flower and fruit extracts to nourish, repair, balance and minimize redness. When used with a good astringent and spot treatment my pimples dry up and shrink in no time! The mask retails for $34.00.

The Corrective Acne Treatment pads are coming with me on all of my upcoming vacations because at the end of a long, skin-dulling flight my face is always in need of serious replenishing and cleansing. The pre-soaked pads contain salicylic acid with natural extracts and botanicals to lightly exfoliate dead cells. They also clarify by wiping away bacteria, dirt and oil which can clog pores and cause acne. The pads are meant to be used on clean, dry skin and no rinsing is required. Because it does contain salicylic acid the formula can make skin feel a tad dry so I recommend following up with a moisturizer or serum. Each jar contains 60 pads and retails for $46.00.

One of the most efficient ways to abolish pimples is with the Intensive Acne Spot Treatment because it allows you to target specific areas and avoid drying out your entire face. This cream has a thin, gel-like consistency that applies clear and dries fast. The active ingredients penetrate pores to clear up acne and you can also apply it under makeup for all day care. For me the most effective and quickest way to abolish zits is by cleansing, using an astringent on the area (to dry out and shrink the pimple) and then applying a spot treatment. Usually my pimple is gone in just 1-2 days and my skin is clear again! The spot treatment retails for $30.00.
