Burberry Kisses Lipstick Review: New Shades!

Previously I reviewed the Burberry Kisses Lipstick in a stunning red and the sophisticated new fragrance- My Burberry which I love! Recently a few new shades were added to the impressive array of 28 luscious lip colors and today I am featuring 4 pretty hues that can take you from spring through summer and right into fall!

This collection is designed with custom color release technology and the pigments build from understated subtle luminosity to intense vibrancy and full coverage. The texture is formulated to feel cushiony soft and luxuriously smooth without clinging to lips or accentuating dry skin. The rich formula is very comfortable, light and hydrating and I like using the pointed edge for defining and outlining.

In true Burberry fashion the packaging is sleek, chic and stylishly etched with the iconic Burberry pattern and a simple magnetic closure. 

The lipsticks have a slight sheen finish with a bit of glossiness and they seem to be unscented for those sensitive to heavy fragrances. The colors glide on effortless and melt into skin for creamy, balm-like moisture that creates a layer of protection ideal for all weather conditions. They are also enriched with Burberry’s signature blend of tea, lavender and rosehip to condition and nourish.

Bright Plum is my favorite shade and it is the perfect summer to fall transition color. When applied lightly it provides a sheer berry wash and when layered heavier the effect is a vampy deep plum-wine.

The longevity of the pigments is about average although they are made to last up to six hours. I prolong the wear by using lip primer prior to application and the color tends not to feather or bleed. I love the quality and consistency of the sumptuous formula, it applies neat and consistently and when I purse my lips it redistributes nicely.

Golden Peach is an invigorating orange that brightens the face with a pop of trendy spring color.

 Rose Pink is very light, mild and fresh, I wear it when I want to tone things down.

Claret Pink is suitable for all complexions and every season, it makes lips appear plush and pretty.

Although this collection is in the high-end price range the excellent formula, color variation and easy application is wonderful and I think lipstick lovers will enjoy them!
