This summer MAC has released an array of playful themes and bold colors. From Cinderella to 60’s glam, diva chic and fun poolside hues the new lineup has something for everyone! 

From the Mia Moretti collection the Crème color base is available in a golden bronze shade called Desert Sun and Summer Wind- a pale shimmer. The base is lusciously creamy and the pigmentation goes from a sheer wash of radiance to an intense, dewy finish.

Desert Sun has a beautiful warm undertone that provides a sunkissed summer glow. I apply it to my cheekbones along my nose or on the forehead but it is also suitable for the lips and eyelids. To create an all over, bronzed goddess effect you can even dab the highlight over the arms, legs, shoulders and decolletage for luminous shine.    

The formula blends seamlessly on top of foundation, moisturizer or powder and it is fragrance-free. The crème is available for $25.00 CAD / $21.00 US.

If a gloss obsession is your guilty pleasure MAC has also launched 4 new Crèmesheen Glass shades including pale peach and pinks. The color I have (Star Quality) is the brightest in the line and although it is described as bright orange coral it is actually more pink coral with sheer to medium coverage.

This gloss has a smooth comfortable texture, a pleasant scent and keeps lips moist and hydrated with aloe leaf extract and soybean oil.

The formula is a fusion of MAC’s smooth Crèmesheen lipstick and their shiny Lip Glass finish that makes your pout appear full and plush. The non-sticky color can be worn alone or applied over its namesake lipstick for more intensity.
