I don’t know about you ladies but when I have to shop for my husband I have a difficult time deciding what to buy. You can only have so many neckties and although socks are necessary they are totally boring. I have a lot of eye shadow so when I receive a palette that really thrills me it is usually one I use often. This holiday Avon has a wonderful selection of gifts for the whole family but if you want to get something extra special for the makeup junkies on your list the Dream Sequins Palette is sure to be a hit!

The black case with colourful sequin detailing is pretty but what’s inside is even better! 15 state of the art gorgeous shades that can create endless looks and get your creative juices flowing! Each shadow is etched with a beautiful pattern and the colors range from rich blue, deep purple, shimmery teal, gold, bronze, pink, silver, black embedded with specks of blue, charcoal, jade and more! This beautiful selection encompasses some of my favorite hues so I can go from flattering day looks to a glam party vibe and everything in-between. With holiday events around the corner this trendy palette packs a lot of festive glitz and can transition through every season.

The pigmentation is also amazing! Once applied the colors appear exactly like they do in the palette for a rich, bold finish that enhances the eyes with smoldering intensity. Avon Makeup Studio Palette

If you are on the hunt for a makeup palette that is beautiful and includes more than just eye shadow then Avon’s Makeup Studio Palette is a great value! This skilfully designed collection incorporates magnificent shades and textures to create a variety of stylish looks.

The palette includes:

When the palette is opened the tray of gloss, blush and bronzer automatically slides up to reveal the silky shadows beneath for a wonderful display of makeup! The eye shadows are all quite soft and subtle ranging from: navy, gold, purple, teal, silver, brown, taupe and more. 

These long-lasting, non-creasing shades are buildable and ideal for creating both smokey and everyday looks. Some of the colors are matte while others contain a bit of shimmer and all shades have a smooth texture. The pigmentation is good, especially when paired with primer and they blend nicely onto the skin for seamless coverage.

The lip glosses are gorgeous and there are shades to suit whatever mood you’re in. If you feel a little daring then dab on the bright red, hot pink or deep purple. If you are in the mood for something more subtle then the nude and softer shades are great. I also love the wine and berry hues which are always in style!

While some of the glosses are solid shades others have a glitter finish, although the glitter doesn't show up very much once applied to the lips. The gloss also has a rich, creamy texture that glides on buttery smooth to provide great moisture and comfortable wear.

The pigmentation is also good, some shades provide medium coverage while others are sheer but for lip gloss the color payoff is decent.

The two shades of blush consist of light pink and a deep mauve hue which I love! I also like that the blush contains no shimmer. The bronzers are both too light for shaping and contouring but the champagne color contains radiant silver shimmer which works well as a highlighter. 

This palette is great for those who seek a more complete range of products and it cuts down on the amount you have to pack during travel! I did have to substitute the lip and blush brushes because the ones included are very small and not very functional.
