L’Occitane Limited-Edition OMY Skincare

This winter L’Occitane kept my family’s skin soft, hydrated and healthy. When it comes to high-quality ingredients, luxurious scents and nourishing formulas – nobody does it better.

Recently the brand has teamed up with OMY – a French company that designs joyful graphic art. Together they’ve decorated our favorite L’Occitane products in fun coloring book drawings.

The OMY Manicure Set ($79.00) saved my hands this winter. It comes with Shea Butter Hand Cream, One-Minute Hand Scrub, Cuticle Oil and two permanent markers to customize the packaging.

The Hand Cream with 20% shea is a bestseller worldwide. I keep one in my purse, another on my beside table and my husband has one at work. The rich moisturizing treatment repairs cracked, peeling, rough skin including flaky areas between your fingers. It melts into all the grooves and lines between your joints and instantly relives dryness with no greasiness.

The limited-edition travel-friendly tube (30 ml) with 5% shea is available for $12.00. It has a soft violet scent – very feminine and elegant. The larger size (150 ml) is also sold separately for $34.00.

My husband loves L’Occitane’s Hand Scrub because it softens, smooths and buffs away hard calluses. Frequent hand washing and alcohol based sanitizer can be very drying so we keep a tube of each (scrub and cream) on the bathroom counter, especially during cold and flu season. Squeeze a dollop of scrub on dry skin, massage thoroughly, wash with hydrating hand soap and apply the cream generously.

Cuticle Oil is highly underrated but when used regularly it strengthens the nail bed to promote growth and prevent brittleness. This repairing formula is infused with sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, shea butter, castor oil and apricot oil to soften and heal damaged cuticles. You can also apply the treatment on top of nail polish to maintain its flexibility and prevent chipping. The little brush delivers a generous coating to help nails recover from manicures and yellowing.

The Limited-Edition Shea Butter Ultra Light Body Cream ($50.00) smells amazing! Although I prefer the Ultra Rich formula for winter, this one has a fluffy whipped texture that absorbs quickly and quenches dehydrated skin. Use it morning and night as part of your daily routine to combat dryness, flaking and tightness. There is no greasiness or residue.

The OMY Collection also includes the Shea Butter Milk Extra-Gentle Soap ($9.00).

These products are available at L’Occitane Boutiques and loccitane.com.

L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Cream and Serum Review

I have a lot of skincare (enough to last a lifetime) but most days I use at least one L’Occitane product. In my bathroom right now you’ll find the Aqua Reotier Gel Cleanser, 3-in-1 Shea Enriched Cleansing Water and Shea Hand Scrub. The classic Immortelle Divine Youth Oil and Crème (which my husband also loves) are always on my dresser and I have almond scented hand creams stashed in every nook and cranny...I’m kind of obsessed.

Today I’m featuring the Immortelle Precious Cream ($70.00) and Serum ($85.00) with potent anti-aging ingredients. This duo will revitalize your complexion like no other because each jar is infused with L’Occitane’s signature Immortelle flower. These miraculous yellow buds are also referred to as “golden sun” or “the everlasting flower” because it survives in the harshest environment and never fades. The plant is also known for its unparalleled regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties that fight free radicals, stimulate collagen, detoxify and firm.

Apply the serum first so the lightweight liquid can absorb and begin the reparative phase. The texture has a structure similar to skin so there is no residue and your face is protected from pollution and blemish causing impurities.

The concentrated elixir is formulated to smooth fine lines and deep wrinkles (if you have any) while boosting radiance and resiliency. I prefer to use it at night but it can also be applied during the day as a makeup base. After the first week my skin felt incredible - silky, plump, lifted and resilient.

The Immortelle cream is infused with essential oil microcapsules for 24-hour moisture release. It also contains shea butter, sunflower seed extract, evening primrose and borage oil to nourish and rejuvenate without clogging pores. When applied before bed, the rich formula revives damaged areas so my complexion appears dewy, soft, smooth and renewed - like I just returned from a luxurious spa.

If I’m dealing with sensitivity, redness, hives or a nasty pimple, the healing ingredients reduce irritation so my skin looks clear and even in no time. I’ve also used it to replenish my lips, brows and under eye area but you should use it according to your needs and skin type.

If you crave a youthful glow, try this collection! The products are available at L’Occitane boutiques, department stores, Sephora and online at loccitane.com.

L’Occitane Limited Edition Hand Cream Collection & Intensive Hand Balm Review

Nothing ruins a cute manicure like dry hands and with frequent washing, sanitizers and harsh weather, it can be difficult to keep skin soft and youthful. Thankfully L’Occitane has luxurious creams and balms infused with rich oils, moisturizing butters and natural plant extracts that heal, nourish and revitalize.

Valentine’s Day may be over but there is still time to get the stylish Hand Cream Gift Set with pampering ingredients sourced from the South of France. These creams are some of my favorites for travel and I keep one in my purse to replenish my hands throughout the day. The set comes with 5 fashionable tubes (Verbena, Cherry Blossom, Pivoine Flora, Rose and Almond) all designed with bright, feminine artwork. The ingredient list includes skin softening components like Coconut, Shea, Sweet Almond Oil, Cherry Extract, Rosemary and Sunflower to treat cracked, damaged skin, repair cuticles, smooth roughness and hydrate with a lightweight silky finish. The set is valued at $60.00 but retails for $50.00 while supplies last.

If winter has taken a toll on your hands, the Intensive Balm is a fabulous treatment for eradicating flakiness and extremely parched skin. The formula contains a high concentration of Shea Butter that penetrates deeply and forms a protective layer over hands, nails and cuticles for instant dryness relief and softness. Although the balm is ultra-rich and a bit difficult to squeeze out of the tube, there is no greasy residue. You can also use it as a recuperative hand mask by applying a generous amount and allowing it to seep in for 10 minutes before blotting off the excess. The balm is great for men who suffer from peeling, damaged skin, those who work outdoors, and professionals who hand wash frequently including nurses, teachers and doctors. The tube is 125 ml and retails for $40.00.

The Shea Collection consists of many lush, hydrating products but one of my favorites is the Foaming Cleanser ($28.00). This smooth, creamy emulsion removes impurities, makeup residue, excess oil and traces of pollution without leaving my face stiff and dry. It can be used morning or night for a soft, fresh complexion.

L’Occitane Harmonie Divine Skincare Review

When I attended L’Occitane’s holiday event a few weeks ago at Toronto’s beautiful Castle Loma, all the scintillating scents and luxurious skincare was amazing but one set totally stole the show. If you love the brand’s bestselling moisturizer – Immortelle Divine as much as I do, then you are going to fall head-over-heels for Harmonie Divine. The new range fuses two precious ingredients from land and sea: Immortelle Millésimée – the flower that never fades with powerful anti-aging properties and Jania Rubens – a precious algae with regenerating properties.

The packaging is visually captivating with beautiful translucent glass bottles that hold the amazing formulas within elegant cylindrical capsules. These cylinders can be replaced by purchasing refills and the gold-amber gradient looks magnificent atop a dresser or vanity.

The serum, or as I like to call it - my magic elixir, is highly concentrated with 500 micro drops of active ingredient suspended within a water based gel also infused with drops of dewy oil. All these textures combine to form a lavish formula that glides across the skin and seeps in efficiently for layers of rejuvenating moisture. You only need to apply a few small drops for maximum results and there is an abundance of anti-aging ingredients to improve texture, wrinkles, fine lines and sagging so skin looks plump, firm, dense and youthful! Although I don’t have lines or visible signs of aging yet, I use this as a preventative measure and during the winter it will fortify and protect against environmental damage.

The best thing about this serum is its ability to instantly transform my complexion from dull and lackluster to smooth and radiant! The texture of my skin feels plush, soft and incredibly silky, similar to the results I experience after a professional facial complete with exfoliation! When used with the moisturizer as a night treatment I awake from my beauty sleep with fresh, clear skin which also improves makeup application for a flawless finish. The serum retails for $225.00 per 30 ml and the refill is $210.00.

The Immortelle Harmonie cream is a dry skin savoir and pampers the complexion in layers of rich, velvety moisture. The luscious formula melts in with no greasiness for maximum suppleness and transforms into an exquisite, radiance boosting dry oil for long lasting hydration and comfort. If you crave soft, polished, amazing skin, I highly recommend this cream! It is also infused with many of the same potent anti-aging components as the serum to diminish wrinkles, sun damage, improve the appearance of contour slackening, lines and all the signs of tired, drooping skin.

Layered over the serum this dynamic duo does wonders for my face and after a couple weeks my skin tone evened out considerably as discoloration and irregularities faded. Every time I look in the mirror I am thrilled with how bright and luminous my complexion appears and all my problem areas caused by dryness, hyperpigmentation and sensitivity have started to disappear which means less concealer! The jar holds 50 ml and retails for $200 with a refill price of $185.00. Although this is in the higher-end range it is totally worth the investment for healthy, glowing skin and the scent of both products is incredible!

You can also purchase these items together as a set for $406.00 at L’Occitane boutiques and ca.loccitane.com.
