Black Smokey Eye Makeup

Hi everyone, today I am going to share a dark sultry look I created using the Naked 2 Palette. This look is very simple and works well for date night or a night out on the town with your girl friends.

Get this look:
*The first thing I did was prime my eyes using the Urban Decay Primer Potion. Make sure you also prime  under your eyes since you will be applying shadow there as well.

*Using the color Blackout from the Naked 2 palette you are going to heavily cover your entire lids. Try not to go too high up into the crease, you want to keep the shadow on the lids.

*Using a small brush cover the area under your eyebrows in foundation. You want this area to look smooth and even and you want a nice contrast between the black.

*Line your lower lash line with a black eyeliner. I used the Revlon Colorstay pencil liner. I would stay away from using a harsh liquid liner.

* Using Blackout again, line under your lower lash line and use a smudge brush to fade the line and create a smokey effect.

*Highlight around your inner tear duct with the color Verve, this helps to brighten up the eyes. I also added a tiny bit of this color right under my eyebrows.

*Add your mascara.

*Finish it up with some lipstick and the look is complete!

Gold eye makeup

Today I am going to show you a gold eye shadow look I wear quite frequently. I like this look because it is simple and it goes with many outfits and lip colors. I pair it with deep red lipsticks, plums, pinks, and even wine colors and it works well. This is another great look for fall.

Products used:
*For my lids I used two different shades of gold. The first gold is from the Coastal Scents 88 shimmer palette it looks like this:

*On top of the gold  from Coastal Scents I also used the color Half Baked from the Naked 2 palette.
*To darken up my outer eye area I used the color Blackout from the Naked 2 palette.

*All over my crease area I used the color Aubergine by e.l.f.
*I lined my top lash line with a black liquid liner and my bottom lash line with a black pencil liner.
*I paired this look with MAC's red lipstick

For anyone interested in what foundations I use:
*MAC Pro-long wear concealer
*MAC Studio Fix foundation
*MAC Studio Fix pressed powder

If you decide to try out this look let me know I would love to see how you did.

Gold Eye Shadow

Gold eye shadow is one of my favorites to wear. I wear it as apart of my every day routine when I don`t want to spend too much time on my makeup and when I don`t want to decide among the abundance of other colors I have.

This look is soft and simple.

The gold I used is from a cosmetic company called Faces they have beautiful loose eye shadow called sparkle dust. This gold color is number 002. It looks a lot darker in the jar but when applied it is a shimmery highly pigmented gold.

If you are not use to using loose eye shadow it can get a bit messy. I suggest applying your eye shadow before you apply your foundation and concealer to your face; this way if the shadow gets onto your face it won`t ruin your foundation. Make sure to use an eye shadow primer like the Urban Decay Primer Potion. Using a flat eye shadow brush tap the eye shadow onto your lids. The more color you tap on the more concentrated and bold the color will appear.

In the crease I used the color Busted from the Naked 2 palette, above the crease just to blend out the colors I used the color Tease. For a brow bone highlight and inner tear duct highlight I used the color Half baked all from the Naked 2 palette.

Hope you like this look, leave a comment below and let me know what your favorite color from the Naked 2 palette is.
