Blueberry Yogurt Smoothie

Today I have another scrumptious smoothie recipe to share and this one is all about antioxidants and the goodness of blueberries!

Blueberries have amazing health benefits and in my house they are never in short supply! These small little fruits help improve cognitive function, dry skin, bladder health, reduce belly fat, prevents hypertension, helps reduce the risk of some cancers and much more! Not to mention they taste delicious on their own and in desserts, yogurts and drinks.

This recipe is quick, easy and tastes great! I used my Nutribullet machine.
Ingredients:
- A heaping handful of blueberries (thawed or frozen)
-Blueberry yogurt cup (I used Activa yogurt with added fiber)
- 1/2 Frozen banana
-Frozen strawberries
-Skim milk (or unsweetened almond milk)
Blend and enjoy!

TIP: I recommend allowing the frozen fruits to sit out for a few minutes because it makes them easier for the Nutribullet to blend, you may also run them under warm water for a few seconds.

  4. This look delish!
Love a good smoothie although I'm vegan so I would have to change the yoghurt but it still looks scrumptious!
