Between shaving, tweezing, waxing, threading and lasers, hair removal can be a tiresome routine that may even cause pain. Today I have a
review on a little product I found online at FarleyCo.Ca that makes the process
less tedious and more affordable with no nicks, stubble or harsh odors!
The Natural Hair Remover Mitten by Velvet Touch uses no
chemicals, blades or sticky wax and there is no mess! The pads themselves feel
like thick, textured paper and are easy to use: simply slip your hand in and
buff away the hair on your legs, arms or bikini area using circular motions.
This method is not only quick but painless as well and the mitt surface is not
very rough or coarse so it doesn't scratch or irritate the skin. While removing
the hair the pad gently exfoliates to slough off dead skin cells for a soft, smooth finish.
Although it can also be used in the shower I prefer to use
it on dry skin for more grip. You can use both sides of the pad and usually
one side is enough to do both arms. As you use it, you will notice the surface
slowly begin to wear away as it dulls and I recommend following up with moisturizer.
Because this method of hair removal doesn't take much effort
you can actually do it while you watch TV and for just $4.49 per 3 pads it is
cheaper than many hair removal methods. I did have to go over some areas several times before the hair was gone and although it didn't remover every single hair it did
remove most of it so I will definitely be adding these to my grooming routine.
Hair remover mitts
The mitts don’t really smell like much to me but they are
infused with cucumber, melon and aloe to help protect the skin. They are
great for travel and quick touch-ups even between shaving and waxing. I
also like that the hair doesn't grow back as fast or feel as stubbly.

**Disclaimer: Product provided for review
I've tried a product like this in the past and it really did nothing for me! I would rub my legs forever and only a few patches of hair were removed. This sounds like it would work a lot better!
ReplyDeleteReally? I guess it depends on the product and how you use it. I have tried products like this in the past as well, in fact I use to use a pad similar to these as my main method of hair removal for a while and it worked great. I hate waxing and even though these left a few stray hairs behind they were easily removable after the process was complete.
DeleteInteresting! So it pulls the hair out and then smooths the area? If it pulls out the hair instead of cutting it then this sounds like something I should try. I'm SO lazy when it comes to hair removal. During winter I become a yeti :P
ReplyDeleteNo it doesn't pull the hair out, it buffs it off while smoothing the area. It's like the hair is being rubbed away.
