OPI Fall/Winter Collections: Nordic and Gwen Stephani Holiday Collection

If you have been keeping up with all the trendy lacquers that were released this season then chances are you have already seen the Nordic Collection which is great for fall and the Gwen Stephani Holiday Collection which includes some fun, festive shades! From deep jewel tones to sparkling finishes and warm, rich hues these collections have something for everyone and the OPI formulas are some of my favorites!

From the Nordic Collection I have the shades: Skating on Thin Ice-Land which is a dark, shiny plum that creates gorgeous fall manis and the shade My Voice is a Little Norse which is an amazing glitter with multi-colored flecks of shimmer. The formula of the purple polish is on the thinner side but it applies nicely with no air bubbles and opaquely in 2-3 coats. The glitter can be applied on its own and layered for full coverage or worn over your favorite shades.

The great thing about these lacquers is that they appear rich and glossy and are chip-resistant. I was able to wear the polish right through Fashion Week with no peeling and there are 12 brilliant shades in the collection!

If you are in the mood for some holiday cheer then paint your nails with one of the lacquers from the Gwen Stepahni Collection! I have the shades: I Carol About You - deep purple, Red fingers and Mistletoe - sparkling red with a glitter finish and Kiss Me-Or Elf- a rich ruby hue with a purple undertone.

I took one look at this collection and I knew which shade I’d be wearing for Christmas! The photos don't really show the beautiful swirl of gold or the dazzling glitter in the shade Red Fingers and Mistletoe but this polish is stunning and the line represents Gwen’s trendy style exceptionally well. The Holiday Collection includes 18 new limited edition shades and is available in both lacquer and gel finishes.
