Clarins Golden Glow Booster Product Launch Event

On Tuesday I attended a Press Event hosted by Clarins at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto for the launch of their new Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster. Just in time for spring and summer this innovative self-tanning serum provides a beautiful sun kissed glow. Like all the Clarins products I own this one smells amazing and all you have to do is mix 3 drops into your moisturizer for gorgeously tanned skin. Although I have never used a tanning product before and have naturally tanned skin, one drop can be used on medium, olive and darker complexions for soft bronzed radiance.

The great thing about this product is that it uses 98.8 percent natural ingredients and allows you to achieve a flawless looking tan “while keeping the moisturizing, anti-wrinkle or firming benefits of your face care.” It applies evenly and does not streak or leave behind visible missed patches. It is also great for those who want a luminous glow and like to control their self tanning results.

The event was beautifully decorated in bright spring colors, flowers and spectacular displays of colorful candy and assorted treats. I had a great time meeting fellow beauty bloggers, Youtube Vloggers and Clarin’s associates. We mingled, sipped champagne, tested products and munched on delicious foods.

Since I love lipstick I stopped by the lipstick booth where Roger Smith, a Makeup Artist and longtime Clarins associate and I mixed and matched some fun spring shades to create brilliant new looks. Roger was a blast and he was quite taken with my makeup application and blending technique so we excitedly had a long conversation about our favorite Clarins products. When two people who are obsessed with makeup get together it is a perfect match for experimenting with color.

I chose this bright orange lipstick called 09 Juicy Clementine in the Rouge Eclat Satin Finish line which is my favorite! These lipsticks apply buttery smooth and have gorgeous pigment.

Next I tested out some luxurious moisturizers. It’s rare for a product to shock and astound me but Clarins has some moisturizers that make skin look and feel incredibly soft, smooth, and so hydrated, radiant and refreshed you will want to use it day and night.
