Easy way to create your own button for your blog

I have seen many cute blog buttons and I finally decided to make my own (which is located on my sidebar).

Before creating my button I tried many websites and codes that were confusing and didn't work at all! But I found a website that allows you to create your own button very simply so I thought I would share the info with my fellow bloggers.

You may have to re-size and readjust your image first and then obtain a URL for your image. I use tinypic.com and photobucket to re-size and obtain a URL. This site quickly generates the code for you and it's free!

Click here to go to the website and generate your button.

  1. Thank you for posting this! This seems way easier than a lot of blog button tutorials I have seen, so maybe I'll finally get around to making blog button. I think the only thing hold me back is I have been thinking of changing my url and blog name. I am definitely using this site when I want to make my button though. I am loving your blogs new design by the way! :)

    1. Hi! You are very welcome :)
What are you thinking of changing your blog URL to? I remember when I started blogging a couple of years ago I knew NOTHING about blogging so after the first few posts I just kind of stopped. I came back in Feb of this year with a new URL and decided to start again.

I`m glad you like my new design, I was thinking to do a post on it but I decided against it since it is pretty obvious that there were some changes. I like it a lot better, it seems so much lighter and its so much easier to see everything in the side bar.

    2. I kind of did they same thing! I made my blog back in 2011 and didn't start using it until summer of 2012 and I kinda just kept the random name I thought of back in 2011. But I want to change it to shadowlinergirl because that is my name on twitter, pinterest, and other social media. I guess I really just want to standardize everything by making it the same name!
