I hope everyone had a great holiday and a fabulous New Year's Eve!
Many people signify the beginning of the year with a fresh start, setting new goals and exploring possibilities. Whether you follow through with a diet plan, get promoted or
find love just remember that it is never too late to go after what you want!
Any day can be a turning point, so don’t feel discouraged if life doesn't
always follow the path you expect.
I don’t make resolutions anymore because I am constantly
changing my goals throughout the year. I always wish for success in all my endeavors
and a happy, healthy life for me and my family. I know that it takes patience,
hard work and determination to achieve anything worthwhile so I try to stay positive
and dispel negativity.
2014 passed by in a flash of trips, fun and new
experiences. From: California, Spain, Rome, Venice, Jamaica, Hawaii,
Mexico and New Orleans I was truly blessed with some amazing opportunities and
I was able to see a bit more of the world!
For New Year’s Eve I had a quiet evening with lots of
champagne, food and family. It was freezing here in Toronto so I avoided the outdoors and stayed warm and cozy. Usually I break out the sparkle and do something dramatic with my makeup but since I
didn't feel like spending weeks cleaning up loose glitter from every surface in
my house, I decided to go simple.
I created a smokey eye using a chrome/silver shadow and paired it with
black shadow in the crease and a matte brow highlight. On my lips I wore a nude/pink
gloss by Stila in the shade 06 Vinyl Nude.
And now for some of my favorite photos of the year!
Los Angles
Barcelona Spain
Rome Italy
Venice Italy
Jamaica
Honolulu Hawaii
Maui Hawaii
Cozumel Mexico
New Orleans
I wish you all success, good health and much happiness in 2015!

I'm sure you will! I have been traveling a lot over the last 5 years, I figure you only live once and I should do as much as I can when I am able to. My highlights in 2013 were Dubai and Paris, gorgeous places as well.
DeleteGet me on a plane to hawaii please! it looks beautiful! I have never been and dream of going there one day, along with Australia and New Zealand. It really looks like you had an amazing year. I love your minimal make up look. I really want to be able to master the smokey eye shadows this year. You are right about making new years resolutions and not sticking to them, does anyone?
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year

I would love to go to Australia as well but what deters me is how far it is. It is literally on the other side of the world, I remember on my trip to Dubai in 2013 after 14 hours of flying the people who had connections to Australia had another 14 hours to go and I was thinking, thank goodness that isn't me! LOL.
DeleteYou went to so many places, I am seriously jealous!
ReplyDeleteI try to visit as many places as possible! Traveling is tiring as well so sometimes I need a break! All the best in 2015.
DeleteI hope one day I get to see some of these places with my own eyes. And you look stunning, as always! Wishing you an amazing 2015! :) xx
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will and I highly recommend seeing Europe. Thanks so much and all the best to you too!
DeleteBeautiful pictures as usual! Happy new year. I hope we can finally meet and chat!
ReplyDeleteThanks hun! We have attended the same event, the Real Techniques one a couple months back but we missed each other! I always love meeting and speaking to people yet others only stick with the groups they already know.
DeleteThese are very, very pretty!! I'm hoping to get into some photography this year myself. I got my camera ready, now I just have to learn how to use it! LOL. I also plan on getting more traveling done this year. I have big plans, I'm just hoping to fit it all in! Your makeup is beautiful as always and I wish you all the success, prosperity and love in 2015!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mionna, it is always nice to hear from you. I love photography and everything I know I learn from watching videos or reading about it online. I don't have one of those cool, professional cameras with the amazing lenses but I work with what I have and practice.
DeleteI will probably be traveling more this year as well. I actually felt like I needed a break after the last couple of trips. I needed to stay home for a bit and avoid flying, airport lines and living out of a suitcase in hotels and resorts lol. I'm not complaining but sometimes you need a vacation from your vacation.
You take the most beautiful photos, Erica! I loved looking at a recap of your favorites. They are all breathtaking. Wishing you happiness and health in the new year!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Chelsea, I try to improve my photography skills every chance I get. All the best to you as well :)
