Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara Review

It seems that almost every day there is a new mascara ad on TV and many brands aim to create something unique to capture your attention and enhance your lashes. Lancôme has recently launched the new Grandiôse mascara designed with a wide, fanned out brush and an interesting swan neck wand. The elastomer brush is made to efficiently grasp lashes for precise application and the curved wand provides easy access to lashes from corner to corner and root to tip. The mascara is formulated to create a voluminous, lengthened effect for up to 24 hours of wear with no clumping or flaking.

Grandiôse is available in one shade - Noir (Black) which is the only shade I really need and it is infused with rose cell extract to strengthen lashes. The curve of the wand is wonderfully innovative and very useful for controlled, precise application. The angle of the brush is positioned perfectly to get up and under the lashes for lift and improved coating. Rotating the wand slightly allows you to efficiently brush through every lash for great separation. To me this design feels more natural than traditional straight wands and unlike many mascaras I own I am actually able to reach my shorter inner lashes!

I like to layer my mascara for as much thickness as I can create so I used about 3-4 applications. I was able to achieve good length and adequate volume and I loved the effect it produced!

Because the formula doesn't run and create darkness under the eyes you can also use it on your bottom lashes. Overall I really like the Grandiôse and it is definitely one of my new go-to products and my favorite design by Lancôme.

The mascara retails for $35.00 and you can find it by clicking HERE

  1. That's a really interesting wand. I don't really like high end mascaras, but they are a nice luxury to have when they do deliver. You look gorgeous as always. :)

  2. Love, love, love the packaging, it is absolutely gorgeous! That is one interesting brush haha :)) It looks awesome on your lashes!

  3. This is really interesting! I'm not big into high end mascaras but this one looks like it's worth a shot. Great review, Erica!
